Не менш захоплива ніж перша частина. Та сама сіра мораль, жахливі вчинки під гаслом "Вбий або будь вбитим". Хотілося б більшого розкриття другорядних персонажів(таких як Марцелла). Але дуже добре розкривається Елі, його минуле та формування тієї понівеченої особистості, яку ми побачили в першій книзі. Треба третя книга, бо поки що історія вимагає продовження, бо історія Сідні та її розвиток ще досі не закінчений
Як завжди авторка та її стиль прекрасні. Хоча це і продовження історії про Віктора, але фокус уваги трішки зміщується на іншу ЕО. Саме це зробило для мене книгу менш цікавою за першу частину, хоч в цілому продовження гідне.
