Philip Pullman is a world-renowned writer, born in 1946 in Norwich, UK. His novels have won all the major awards in the genre of children's fiction, and have become bestsellers among adults. In 2005, the writer received the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Prize, the world's most honorable award for achievements in the field of literature for children and youth. In 2007, Philip Pullman received an outstanding award for his novel The Northern Lights (the fiction trilogy The Dark Matter), the Andrew Carnegie Medal. His novel was named the best children's book of the last 70 years. In 2018, for his contribution to English literature, the writer received the status of sulfur. Philip Pullman is married, has two grown children and lives in Oxford. Nadiya Doycheva - illustrator, monumentalist, graphic artist. He lives and works in Kyiv, collaborates with many Ukrainian publishing houses. Winner of international and Ukrainian art awards.
