Peter Pan, the mischievous boy who refuses to grow up, lands in the Darling's proper middle-class home to look for his shadow. He befriends Wendy, John and Michael and teaches them to fly (with a little help from fairy dust). He and Tinker Bell whisk them off to Never-land where they encounter the Red Indians, the Little Lost Boys, pirates and the dastardly Captain Hook.
About Authors
J.M. Barrie (1860–1937) was a Scottish novelist and playwright. After finishing school in Scotland, he moved to London, where he met the five Llewelyn Davies boys, to whom he originally told the tale of Peter Peter. In 1904, Barrie wrote the play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, which was very successful and led to him writing the books we know today. Upon his death, he gave the rights to Peter Pan to London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital, a children’s hospital.

Адже всі ми в дитинстві боялись подорослішати і завжди хотіли бути дітьми, проте автор показує нам, що не все так просто. Дякую, видавництву "Небо" за можливість прочитати одну з улюблених історій в такому неймовірному виданні. Ілюстрації тут просто неймовірні, цей акварельний стиль підкорив моє серденько.
Це фантастично та повчально! Багато хто в дитинстві хотів швидше подорослішати, але багато й тих, хто цього боявся, як Пітер Пен. Це чарівна казка про дитинство, дорослішання, про необхідність як першого, так і другого. Це історія про уяву, та віру в диво. Класика, та тепер в фантастичному виданні! Венді Дарлінг випадково зустріла Пітера Пена, хлопчика, який не зростає. Разом з братами і Пітером дівчинка відправилась в Небувандію — де живуть феї та русалки, індійці, а основна загроза — пірати під керівництвом Капітана Гака. Захопливі пригоди і товариство Загублених хлопців змінюють її світогляд. Змушують читачів замислитись.
