Ten-year-old Siri and her little sister Miki live with their elderly father in an Arctic archipelago. One day, while they are out gathering snowberries, Miki is abducted by Captain Whitehead. Everyone knows the story about Captain Whitehead, a pirate with hair white as snow and heart as empty as an ice cave. All he wants is children, the smaller the better. About Authors
Frida Nilsson is a Swedish writer and author of children's books, born in 1979. She made her debut as a writer in 2004, when she wrote about a dozen books. Winner of numerous literary awards, including the prize. Astrid Lindgren. In 2017, Frieda Nilsson was included in the list of the best European authors under the age of 39 according to the Hay Festival Aarhus.
