It took a black kitten named Nero only six weeks to become the head of the farm and earn the respect of all its inhabitants. Nero is not afraid of anyone or anything, and therefore receives the second part of his name - Corleone, which means "Lion's Heart".

Thanks to his intelligence and ingenuity, the common village cat not only received an unusual name, but also made several significant changes in its feline destiny. The story that tells us about the adventures of Nero Corleone is written in easy, extremely simple language, which makes it understandable to readers of all ages. The illustrations created by the artist Quint Buchholz emphasise the lively and warm atmosphere of the story.
