Barely recovered from her escapades of the previous year, Clara is just getting used to her new wildwitch identity, as well as to her mysterious new companion, Cat, when she is thrust into a new adventure. First, Clara’s friend Shanaia is found badly injured, then Clara’s best friend Oscar goes missing – kidnapped. With no one to help her, Clara must journey on the Wildways to the windswept clifftop dwelling of Westmark. Here she will have to draw on her wildwitch powers, and discover new reserves of inner strength, as she once again faces her enemy, Chimera.
About Authors
Prior to becoming a professional writer, Lena Koberbøl worked as a high school teacher, editor, translator, assistant cleaning manager and riding school instructor. Today, Lene is a popular Danish fantasy writer, owner of the Phabel & Plott Aps publishing house, winner of numerous children's literature awards, including the Danish National Eagle Award and the Harold Mogensen Prize. In 2001, Lena Koberbøl won the title of best author at the Disney World Art Convention.
Alina Komarova is an illustrator and master of sports in sketching :) Her favourite materials are a thin black liner and a large etching machine for printing. She studied book graphics at the Academy of Arts in Kyiv (NAOMA), so she studied the anatomy of illustrations as fantastic alchemy. "The "Wild Witch" project was made with absolute love, so otherworldly and charming. The cover is an important part - it is the first thing the reader sees, so we approached the visual image of the main character very carefully. The combination of photo and drawn line really creates magic space ... "
